The Gospel according to John is one of the most beloved books of the Bible. It is an account of the ministry, work, life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ by an eyewitness. It differs from the other three "Synoptic" Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke not in substance but in emphasis. From the very start, John shows us that Jesus is very God - the Creator of all things and the bringer of life. It is a book filled with memorable stories and verses and it confronts us with the crucial truth that we are sinners in need of a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ!
