I Am the Bread of Life
Topic: AM Service Passage: John 6:22–36
When we follow Jesus, we may wonder why so many people do not see what we see. Why is it that the truth of the Bible does not persuade people? Or the changed lives of believers? Or the miraculous accounts in Jesus’ life? John recounts to us Jesus’ answer to these questions. We may think that “seeing is believing,” but the truth is that to see, we must believe. After having fed the crowd of 5,000, Jesus confronts the crowd. They had chased after Him, not because they wanted Him, but because they wanted more from Him. Jesus reminds us that we must believe in Him to have eternal life. We must listen when He says, “I Am the Bread of Life” (John 6:22-36).
