All of us are aware of the pain of death. It is a constant in this world – no matter how rich, famous, or smart someone is, they cannot escape death. Death is the great equalizer, and it is also the ultimate sorrow in this world. Almost all our fears center on death. But the good news of the gospel is that our Savior has conquered death! Jesus does not just defeat death – He is the resurrection and the life! Jesus gives us confidence and comfort when He says, “I Am the Resurrection” (John 11:17-27).
