ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) CLASSES ARE OPEN!
As of October 6, we are open again to new and returning students. If you have not already pre-registered, please click on the "Register" button to complete the form. Online registration DOES NOT RESERVE a seat in our classes. Our classes fill up quickly, but if we have room, you can complete your registration and join a class by coming to the church lobby at 6:30 PM on a Thursday when we hold our English classes (calendar here). (NOTE: We will post on this webpage if classes become full.) We look forward to seeing you soon!
Houston has been called the most diverse city in the world, according to a study done by Rice University. The educational and employment opportunities for internationals in Houston are numerous, and as a result, many people in the Katy area have a desire to improve their English language skills. Christ Church runs an English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry on Thursdays – and you are welcome to join us, free of charge! Some details about ESL are:
WHO CAN COME?
Any adults or high school students in our community who want to practice speaking English in a fun and friendly environment.
WHAT IS IT LIKE?
We have five different classes including beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Cost: free! If you would like to purchase a book, it is $25. (We accept check or cash only.) Come anytime to visit and observe a class or join.

(Come in our front entrance and meet with our ESL administration in our lobby. We will then help find the appropriate class for you.)
WHEN?
Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:45 PM (Please note that doors open at 6:30 PM) during the months of September - May
