Jesus at the Feast

Topic: AM Service Passage: John 1:1
John tells us that the reason he wrote his gospel was so that we would know who Jesus is. And so, repeatedly, he brings us scenes where Jesus is in front of large groups of people, challenging them to believe in Him. In chapter 7, Jesus comes to the Feast of Booths, and as He begins to teach, several different groups express their opinions about who He was. But Jesus is never satisfied with allowing people to define Him. On the last day of the feast, He publicly cried out for all to hear that He was the One in whom all must believe. It is just as important for us today to hear “Jesus at the Feast” (John 7:25-39).
