Raising children can be a challenge. We live in a complex world where there are many pressures on the family, and especially children. And far too often, children are treated as an inconvenience or even a detriment to happiness. The Lord gives us a different perspective on children. The Bible teaches us that children are a blessing from the Lord. Parents are to point them to the Lord Jesus Christ and to build a home that is loving and nurturing. The worldview of those who have been saved by grace should be to see “Children: The Gift of God” (Mark 10:13-16).
