The Saint's True Refuge
June 26, 2022 Speaker: Fred Greco Series: Psalms
Topic: AM Service Passage: Psalm 34:1–22
Life is filled with upheaval, pain, and loss. How can the Christian bear up under all this? David – himself no stranger to trouble – penned a psalm in which he pointed us to the Lord and His promises. We are reminded to focus on how worthy of praise our Lord is; when we boast in the Lord, our troubles seem small and far away. We are to testify to the delivering power of the Lord; He is the one who saves us out of all our troubles. We are to trust the Lord to provide for us in all circumstances. And finally, we must remember the promise of the Lord that He will hear our cries. The Lord is indeed “The Saint’s True Refuge” (Psalm 34)
