Once again, the Jewish leaders pose a question to our Lord. In this text, it comes from the Sadducees. Here they try to embarrass Jesus and disprove the resurrection. Instead, Jesus shows that they know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God. There is much to learn from this passage, both about the resurrection, and about the Lord Jesus, who is the Lord of the resurrection.
