In contrast to the abundance of bread that Christ provided for the Gentiles, the disciples demonstrate a severe lack of understanding of Christ and His mission. Jesus shows Himself to be a host to thousands in territory where He is really a guest. We must strive to serve like Christ, as a host; while avoiding the unbelief of the Pharisees and the ignorance of the disciples.
