Many times we forget to set our hope fully on the grace that will brought to those who trust in Jesus. We can get distracted with life’s demands, and even lack motivation. Peter explains that there is work to be done, but he also gives us reasons and motivations for doing the work the Lord has for us, by reminding us of who God is, and the worth He has placed on us. This calls us to focus our attention not on what is here today and gone tomorrow, but on what is “Imperishable” (1 Peter 1:13-25).
