Topic: AM Service Passage: Isaiah 31:1– 32:20
Isaiah has been telling God’s people not to trust in their own strength or in worldly alliances. The question then comes: what are we to do? In chapters 31 and 32, Isaiah declares that where the world (Egypt) is weak, the Lord is strong. Where the ungodly are under judgment, repentance is their path to hope. The Lord is not merely the One who sits in the heavens in judgment; He is the great King who preserves His people. A wise people will always be “Waiting for the King.” (Isaiah 31:1-32:20)
I. Return to the King
II. Rest in the King
III. Renewed by the King
