As we conclude the series on Stewardship, we look at what the Scriptures have to tell us about our “Attitudes in Stewardship.” We have seen over and over that the Lord looks at our hearts rather than the size of our bank accounts. Stewardship is an act of grace, a spiritual discipline in which we have the opportunity to be molded more and more into the image of our Savior. Jesus blessed us with His gracious generosity, and we should seek to follow Him in all things. Three passages that show us how we should express our hearts in stewardship are the widow with the two coins, the call to give in secret, and the gathering of resources for the tabernacle. (Mark 12:41-44; Matthew 6:1-4; Exodus 36:1-7)
