The Apostle Paul, in writing to the congregation at Corinth, reminds us that God’s grace is found in the generosity that flows from God’s people. God gives grace to His people, which results in joy and an eagerness to bless others. Grace changes who we are, and that includes giving us a heart of generosity. The Lord gives above and beyond what we need, and as we follow Him, we are called to excel in the grace of giving. If stewardship is defined as taking care of what you have been given by another, then Christians have been given “Opportunities in Stewardship” by the Lord. (2 Corinthians 8:1-7)
