Final Destinies (Isaiah 24:1-25:12)

Topic: AM Service Passage: Isaiah 24:1– 25:12
We all should spend time thinking about our future. It is important, for example, to save for retirement. It is also important to consider how children will grow into adults and, therefore, to prepare them for the future. But the most important future we all have is our eternal future. God’s Word tells us that this earthly life is not all that there is; in fact, it is but a small portion of our existence. For all people, our soul lives on for all eternity. Where we spend eternity depends entirely on our relationship to the Lord and His Messiah, Jesus Christ. Isaiah describes the end of all history and the end prepared for everyone: either judgment and disaster that awaits those who reject the Lord, or salvation and joy that awaits those who rest in Him. We would do well to consider the “Final Destinies” (Isaiah 24:1-25:12).
