A Kingdom Not of This World

Topic: AM Service Passage: John 18:36
Almost every aspect of the world has become political – so much so that it seems impossible to think or talk about anything without being involved in politics. Whether it is children’s books, sports, or even household products, everything is an occasion for a political battle. Christians are not immune to this as we live in a world that demands a political reaction from everyone. We must remember that our Lord Jesus Christ did not come to earth and become man so that we would have better governments, more efficient economic systems, or even a more united society. He came to redeem sinners and to establish His Kingdom. In Jesus’ Kingdom, He is King. He sets the priorities. His Kingdom is founded on truth. When we follow Jesus, we must understand that His Kingdom is “A Kingdom Not of This World” (John 18:36).
