A Call to Holy Living

Topic: AM Service Passage: 2 Corinthians 6:14– 7:1
Over and over again in his second letter to the Church at Corinth, the Apostle Paul has emphasized that when a sinner believes in Jesus Christ and is united to Him by faith, the Lord brings about a great change in the believer. That change is both internal and external – that is, becoming a believer in Christ changes who we are in terms of our desires, thoughts, and actions, but it also changes who we associate with. Believers are brought into the family of God and become a part of the temple of God, the Church. This fact results in leaving sin for righteousness and uncleanness for holiness. Two great truth that we must remember: first, that grace precedes holiness and second, that grace must lead to holiness. Paul gives the believer “A Call to Holy Living” (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
