God is active on behalf of His people at all times, even when it is hard to see.  But His actions are not arbitrary.  They are based on His love, which is based on His covenantal promises.  Today we will see that the context in which God acts, both corporately and individually, is by means of His covenant. The basket in which God’s Providence is placed is His covenant.

I. God Never Forgets His Promises
A. Time had passed, but that does not change the situation or God
B. God does not forget His promises b/c they are part of His covenant
C. God’s promises are God-centered

II. God Never Forgets His Plan
A.  Moses is now prepared, where before he was impatient
B.  God executes His plan
C.  God makes His covenant and plan personal and relational

III. God Never Forgets His People
A. God Knows His People
B. God Identifies with His People
C. God is Involved with His People
