Job

Job is one of the most mysterious and difficult books in the Bible. It is almost painful for us to read as we see Job suffer and then have to endure the "help" of his friends, who blame Job for his ills. The good news for us is that Job reminds us that how comfortable (or uncomfortable) our life is, is not a measure of our relationship with the Lord. Job also reminds us that God is God and we are not.
