The book of James is a very practical book that helps us to understand what it is to live as believers in a world that is often hostile to us. The brother of our Lord Jesus was likely the author of the book of James. While he had initially rejected Christ and His message, He later became a leader in the church at Jerusalem and wrote this most helpful book.
