Isaiah
Seven centuries before the birth of Jesus Christ, the prophet Isaiah was sent by the Lord to Judah with a message of redemption. Isaiah brought the Lord's indictment against a sinful people, telling them that they had no hope apart from the Lord and His mercy and grace. Isaiah's message prefigured the Suffering Servant who was to come, so much so that it is often called "The Gospel of Isaiah."
