As we have in past years, the men of Christ Church will be joining the men of Christ Presbyterian Church (formerly CEPC) for their annual men’s retreat on February 3-4, 2023. The retreat will be held at Camp Blessing (7227 Camp Blessing Ln, Brenham, TX 77833) and the speaker is Dr. David Strain. He will be speaking on “The Priorities of Prayer” from John 17.

Dr. David Strain was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He holds degrees from Duncan Jordanstone College of Art, Trinity College Glasgow/School of Divinity, the Free Church of Scotland College in Edinburgh, and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. He has pastored in London, England, Columbus, MS, and is currently the Senior Minister of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS. He was awarded a Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson) in 2016. He is a gifted preacher and is a friend of both Pastor Greco and Pastor Wegener. He has a passion to see a revival of prayer within the church and you will not want to miss his speaking at this retreat.

We will begin with dinner on Friday, February 3, and conclude after lunch on Saturday, February 4. All men college age and above are welcome!
