At our 2026 Mission Conference, Jamie Peipon, Minister of Missions at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS, was our conference speaker.
Jamie was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. In 2001 his family moved to Kyiv, Ukraine to serve as missionaries. While there he earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Performance at the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music. While in Ukraine he also met and married his wife, Dasha. They now have two children: their son Lydian, and their daughter Solomia. Before moving to Jackson to pursue a Masters of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary, Jamie served as a deacon and ruling elder at Providence Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, Maryland. In 2021, Jamie graduated from RTS and was installed as Assistant Minister of Music and Worship at FPC Jackson. In February of 2023 he was called to serve as the church’s Minister of Missions.
Summary of Conference
The missions conference began on Friday evening with a welcome dinner, where attendees shared an Italian meal. Following dinner, Jamie Peipon opened the conference with a session titled “Calls and Answers.”
On Saturday, the day included separate gatherings for men and women. The men met for a breakfast, while the women gathered for a luncheon where Dasha Peipon spoke on “Global Mission: A View from the Other Side.”
Sunday featured a full day of worship and teaching. In the morning services, Jamie Peipon preached on “You Are Not Called to Global Missions” from Ephesians 4:11–16. This was followed by a combined Sunday School session that included a video from a missionary and a missions report from Pastor Greco. In the evening, another worship service was held, where Jamie Peipon delivered a message titled “What Is the Chief End of Blessing?” from Psalm 67. The weekend concluded with a fellowship meal featuring foods from around the world, where attendees shared dishes together.
