The Book of James is very concerned about the Christian life and especially how that life is lived out in the context of the church. James 4:1-6 tells us the root problem when it comes to quarrels and fights. What is the cause of conflict among you? James tells us that the selfish, sinful desires of our own hearts are at the center of these conflicts. To deal effectively with conflict, we must deal with our own hearts.
