Paul’s letter to the Galatians is critical to understanding the message of the gospel of grace, and has historically be recognized as one of the four chief works of Paul (along with Romans and 1 and 2 Corinthians). The dominant themes of Galatians are justification before God by faith apart from legal works, and the presentation of the Spirit as the principle of the new life in Christ. Series on 1 Thessalonians

Series on Ruth

The book of Ruth is a marvelous story of love, grace and redemption. It offers a glimpse into God’s sovereignty and His enduring love of His people. It also gives good practical advice on living a godly life, and answers the well known question from Proverbs 31:10 "An excellent wife, who can find?" with answer "Boaz can!" Series on Haggai

Haggai was a prophet to Israel in the times after the return from exile in Babylon. God used Haggai to refocus the attention of His people on Himself, and their worship of Him. Often overlooked, the "minor" prophets of the Old Testament (whose books are smaller in size, not less important than the "major" prophets) speak to us, encouraging us on to a true and lively relationship with the Lord.
