1 Peter Sermons

Rev. Fred Greco

The Apostle Peter is a model of a practical, pastoral author. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Peter writes to Christians – Jews and Gentiles alike – who are experiencing difficulties in society because they are trying to live out their faith. The counsel that Peter gives is very appropriate for our day, because at the time in which he wrote, the Church was not yet undergoing obvious and heavy persecution (like being thrown to the lions), but rather a more mild form of persecution – being slighted by society, demeaned, and viewed with suspicion. You can also download a PDF chart of the 1 Peter Sermon Series.
