In the evenings at Christ Church until the end of the year, Pastor Greco is preaching through the book of 1 Thessalonians. 1 Thessalonians is a book that does not get that much attention today, except for perhaps the 5th chapter and its subject of the “day of the Lord” that “comes like a thief in the night” (1 Thess. 5:2). But in reality, Paul gives to us a vivid picture of what ministry is to look like in the Church - ministry both inside and outside the Church. It is a wonderful encouragement to our own ministry to see both Paul’s example, and his commendation of the young, poor Thessalonian church.
