I have been thinking and praying a lot about what it means to be part of Christ’s Universal Church.  A couple of things brought it the forefront of my thoughts.  The first is the blessing my wife, Renee,  received by attending the Women in the Church conference in Atlanta about a week ago.  The second was my opportunity to worship at the Bon Accord Free Church in Aberdeen Scotland last Sunday.  The pastor (visiting - they are looking for a full-time pastor) was preaching on Exodus 12.  He started out by teaching the history of the Exodus is not just Jewish history, or should it be considered merely Scottish or European or American history - but the history of God’s church, which we are all a part of. 

 I just wanted to bring this up so that we will all be aware of the struggles of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ around the globe.  Please be in prayer for this body in Aberdeen Scotland as they look for a new pastor.  Their website is Bon Accord Free Church   if you’d like to learn more about this congregation. 

Finally, the main reason I am posting here is that I would like to challenge all of you to post any information you may have about a sister congregation either elsewhere in the US or in another country.  If it is a church you have visited, our connection will be even stronger.  If they have a website, please post the link to their site, so we can all know how to pray for each other. 

 I am looking forward to seeing how Christ is working throughout the world.
